On March 10th, Eren Enerji held a press conference at Dedeman Hotel to discuss its social responsibility projects in Zonguldak. During the press conference, journalists were informed, and their questions were answered about Eren Port, Muslu Houses, and the Eren Thermal Power Plant Site. Members of the press meticulously examined all the projects during the press conference, which drew a lot of attention.
First Phase of Eren Enerji Muslu Housing Completed
The first phase of Eren Enerji's "Muslu Housing Project" has been completed. Half of the completed houses have been delivered to their rightful owners. The project, which undertakes an important mission in the restructuring of the city, consists of 60 houses built on an area of 10,500 square meters. The houses, which were provided at half the cost to residents of the region who had to sell their land due to the construction, were built by TSE and earthquake standards. Furthermore, Eren Enerji informed press members that it will provide free utilities, personnel, and required apartment repairs, for a period of one year.
Eren Enerji Hot Water Heating Project
The project to heat the city with hot water from the thermal power plant, initiated by Eren Enerji in collaboration with the municipality of Çatalağzı, is ongoing. The project covers 100 houses in the Cumayanı Neighborhood of Çatalağzı town in the first stage. The project, which is critical for the people of the region, will be expanded based on demand and will also include Muslu. This project aims to reduce air pollution caused by the use of low-quality coal in the region's homes while also providing more cost-effective heating to the residents.
Eren Enerji's Muslu Municipality Building and Social Area Projects
The project, which includes the Muslu Municipality Building and social facilities is being built on approximately 10 acres of land and is expected to be completed shortly. The project has received great interest and includes an amphitheater, exhibition halls, sports fields, and a wedding hall, and it is a critical step in urban transformation. They were also informed about the sports complex in Muslu, which consists of a turf field and a gymnasium and is available for the use of amateur sports clubs and schools in the region.

Scholarship Opportunity for Students from Eren Enerji
In 2013, a total of 209 students in Çatalağzı and Muslu received free scholarships as part of educational scholarships, which are among the social responsibility projects carried out.
