With a 65-million-dollar investment, Modern Karton is building a starch factory in Çorlu.

The plant, which will be one of Turkey's largest investments in its field, will also be the world's most environmentally friendly starch factory in terms of carbon footprint and water consumption, with a $65-million investment and an annual production capacity of 138 thousand tons.

Modern Karton, Turkey's largest producer of corrugated cardboard paper, is also the largest consumer of starch in the Turkish market. With this investment, not only the starch needs of Modern Karton and Modern Ambalaj will be met, but also one more step will be taken towards environmentally friendly production thanks to the direct liquid shipment of starch to paper and packaging facilities.

Once the facility is operational, industrial-type starch production will be limited to high-starch-consumption industries such as paper, packaging, textiles, and building materials.

Continuing on the path it has set out on with the slogan "Turkey's Eren," Eren Holding and all the companies under its umbrella will continue to undertake works that will brighten the future not only for Turkey but also for the rest of the world.
