Eren Enerji is currently leading the ZETES journey, which began in 2009 in order to help supply the rapidly increasing demand for electricity in the energy sector in our country;

- There are our units with a total installed capacity of 2,790 MW located in Çatalağzı and Muslu in the province of Zonguldak. These include 160 MWe with Fluidized Bed technology, 2x615 MWe with Super Critical Pulverized Coal, and 2x700 MWe, in addition to our Port Facilities.

ZETES 1

This is a reference to the 160 MWe unit located in the southern part of the Zonguldak Eren Thermal Power Plant. By utilizing circulating fluidized bed technology, the thermal power plant generates steam.

After the combustion occurs in the circulating fluidized bed boiler, the superheated steam that is produced will enter the high-pressure sections of the turbine, where it will expand before colliding with the turbine blades and releasing its energy to the rotors. The temperature of the steam as it exits the high-pressure turbine is increased once more in the section of the boiler known as the superheater before it is routed into the medium-pressure turbine that is integrated with the low-pressure stage. The mechanical energy that is produced by hitting the turbine blades is converted into electrical energy in the generator, which is connected to the same mechanical assembly (shaft) as the turbine. TEİAŞ's interconnected system receives the energy that has been generated through lines that are 154 kV in voltage.

ZETES 2

ZETES2 refers to the 2x615 MWe units located in the southern section of the Zonguldak Eren Thermal Power Plant.

The supercritical, Pi(n) type boiler produces two stages of steam that are then sent to the turbine. By going through a condenser that is cooled by water, the steam is turned back into the water. This process allows the steam to transfer its thermal energy to the blades of the turbine. The turbine's HP, IP, and LP stages all contribute to the generation of mechanical energy, which is then converted into electrical energy by a generator that is connected to the same shaft as the turbine. The generated energy is delivered via 380 kV lines to the TEAAŞ interconnected system (Bölücek TM, Ada2 TM, ZETES 3 GIS).

ZETES 3

ZETES 3 refers to the 2x700 MWe units located in the northern section of the Zonguldak Eren Thermal Power Plant.

The supercritical, Pi(n) type boiler produces two stages of steam that are then sent to the turbine in this plant. The generated energy is supplied to the interconnected system of TEİAŞ via 380 kV lines (Osmanca TM, Bartın TM, Karadeniz GIS, ZETES 2 GIS).

EREN PORT

The exact coordinates of the Eren Port are 41 23'30" North and 31 37'51" East.

This facility handles the annual discharge of approximately 7,000,000 tons of coal required by Eren Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., as well as the loading of approximately 1,000,000 tons of byproducts such as clay stone and gypsum. It can handle about 15,000,000 tons of cargo per year with all its equipment. In addition, it also meets the import and export requirements of third-party businesses. It is estimated that approximately 2,500,000 tons of other cargo are unloaded annually The total amount of cargo that is handled on an annual basis is 10,500,000 tons. In addition, Eren Port is the location of the Water Intake Structure, which is responsible for supplying ZETES 1-2-3 units with cooling water.

Eren Port offers loading and unloading services with its four berths, as well as pilotage and towage services, and it also manages the port with its knowledgeable staff. Our port is equipped to deal with a variety of commodities, including coal, ore, pallets, and containers.
