The exact coordinates of Eren Port are 41 23'30" North and 31 37'51" East.
It handles the annual discharge of approximately 7,000,000 tons of coal required by Eren Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., as well as the loading of approximately 1,000,000 tons of byproducts, such as clay stone and gypsum. It can handle about 15,000,000 tons of cargo per year with all its tools. In addition, it meets the import and export requirements of third-party businesses. It is estimated that approximately 2,500,000 tons of other cargo are unloaded annually. The total amount of cargo that is handled on an annual basis is 10,500,000 tons. In addition, Eren Port is the location of the Water Intake Structure, which is responsible for supplying ZETES 1-2-3 units with cooling water.
Eren Port offers loading and unloading services with its four berths, as well as pilotage and towage services, and it also manages the port with its knowledgeable staff. Our port is equipped to deal with a variety of commodities, including coal, ore, pallets, and containers.
- Dock 1 is a 300-meter-long bulk cargo dock that can accommodate ships of various sizes up to a maximum of 200.000 DWT/227.000 dt.
- Dock 2 is a 250-meter-long bulk cargo dock that can accommodate ships of various sizes up to 80,000 DWT/98,000 dt.
- Dock 3 is a 200-meter-long bulk cargo dock that can accommodate ships of various sizes up to 60,000 DWT/80,000 dt.
- Dock 4 is an 87-meter-long dock with a maximum of 10,000 DWT/13,300 dt in various capacities;
- The RORO dock is 35 meters long and has a capacity of 6,895 DWT/18,528 dt.
The container loading dock, which is scheduled to be completed in 2024, will have a capacity of approximately 100,000 TEU.
