Eren Perakende Makes a Strategic Investment in Logistics
In order to support the rapid growth of its e-commerce volume and its omnichannel retail structure, Eren Perakende has completed a USD 56 million investment in a new 55,000-square-meter logistics facility located in Ergene, Tekirdağ.
Designed with a two-phase automation strategy, the facility consolidates all logistics operations under a single hub, delivering enhanced speed, efficiency, and scalability. Developed with a vision of end-to-end automation, the investment is scheduled to reach operational readiness at maximum capacity as of June 2026.
In the first phase, Turkey’s first pouch sorter system has been commissioned, providing a sorting capacity of 5,000 units per hour and delivering significant efficiency gains in both e-commerce and in-store return operations. In the second phase, the installation of a shuttle system is currently underway; this system represents the first implementation of its kind within Turkey’s retail logistics sector and is expected to increase operational efficiency by six times compared to the existing structure.
With a storage capacity of 15 million units, the facility will serve with a daily capacity of 250,000 individual item shipments, 25,000 inbound cartons, and 20,000 outbound cartons. Thanks to its SAP ERP–integrated EWM infrastructure, operations are managed digitally end to end, while same-day and next-day delivery capabilities for digital channels are further strengthened.
Designed to pursue LEED green building certification, the facility supports sustainability criteria with a strong focus on energy efficiency and resource management.
