Eren Foundation Receives “Foundation of the Year” Award
Recognised for its contributions to education, Eren Foundation received the “Foundation of the Year” award at a ceremony held at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center as part of Foundations Week.
Emir Eren, Chairman of the Board of Eren Holding, received the award from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on behalf of Eren Foundation.
Established by the Eren Family in 2007, Eren Foundation continues its work to support access to education, contribute to the development of a qualified workforce, and assist students and teachers who face challenges in pursuing education due to financial constraints. To date, the Foundation has contributed to the advancement of education in Türkiye by providing scholarships to thousands of students.
Eren Foundation has established a total of 19 schools and five student dormitories in various provinces, spanning all levels of education from primary school to university.
Commenting on the award, Emir Eren emphasized that education is one of the cornerstones of social development and said: “At Eren Foundation, we believe that education is the most important investment in Türkiye’s future and continued progress. We will continue to support equal opportunities so that our young people can realise their potential. As we have done to date, we will continue working to contribute to the educational journeys of even more students.”
Aiming to contribute to Türkiye’s cultural and scientific development, Eren Foundation continues its efforts to improve the quality and accessibility of education, with a core goal of providing scholarships to more students each year.
Presented as part of the Foundations Week events organised by the Directorate General of Foundations, the “Foundation of the Year” award honours foundations that stand out for creating social value and making sustainable contributions to society.
