The brand began its adventure in 1933 when René Lacoste, the famous champion tennis player, put his nickname, “crocodile” as a logo on his t-shirt. In addition to being the first brand in the world to use a symbol on the visible surface of a clothing product, Lacoste also takes its place in history by wearing a polo shirt instead of a shirt in tennis.

The famous French brand Lacoste, which meets its consumers in more than 120 countries all over the world, has been represented by Eren Perakende in Turkey since 1990. Eren Retail has been holding the representation rights of Lacoste brand in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia, Baltic and CIS countries since 2005. Lacoste operates with more than 140 stores and online shopping sites, 43 of which are in Turkey.
